At Centinela Valley Independent Study, the student:teacher ratio has risen 35% over the 5-year window — from 23.0:1 in 2020 to 31.0:1 in 2024. Despite that, the gap vs US average of 15.4:1 has actually widened — from 7.6:1 above in 2020 to 15.6:1 above in 2024.
