At Coast Union, chronic absenteeism has fallen 10% over the 5-year window — from 5.2% in 2017 to 4.7% in 2020. Despite that, the gap vs US average of ~28% has actually widened — from 22.8% below in 2017 to 23.3% below in 2020.
